GARBO S.r.l., Cerano (NO), Italy, a company that specializes in recovery of high value materials, plans to install a large-scale commercial polyester chemical recycle facility in Italy. The PET plant will utilize GARBO Chemical Recycle Proprietary Technology for production of BHET. – A high value source for production of Polyester bottles and fibers.

FiberVisions, a Indorama Ventures Company has awarded a major Engineering and Project Services contract to Chemtex Global Corporation for a new specialty fiber manufacturing line to be installed at the Covington, GA facility. Chemtex will perform complete design for the facility and provide other services for the Project. Chemtex values its continued relationship with the Indorama Group.

Chemtex Global Corporation is pleased to announce the successful start-up of world’s largest single-line capacity PET plant for Jiangyin Chengold Packaging Material Co. Ltd. Located in Jiangsu Province, China. The Plant consists of two mega scale PET production lines, each with a capacity of 600,000 tons per year. 

Recently, polyester plants successfully commissioned by Chemtex. Chemtex Global Corporation and INVISTA have commissioned several new Polyester plants for Reliance Industries, India. The projects include a 900 metric tons per year filament plant and two PET lines, each with a capacity of 900 tons per day. Over the past 35 years, Reliance Industries has purchased over 25 Polyester plants from Chemtex. The Chemtex and Reliance relationship continues to grow with these recent projects.

Early this year, the Xin Fengming Group, China has awarded 3 new Polyester Projects to Chemtex Global Corporation. Each of these projects includes a 900 metric tons per day Continuous Polymerization (CP) Lines based on INVISTA technology. Each one of these CP lines shall be connected multiple Filament Yarn Spinning Machines. A total of 17 CP lines have been supplied to by Chemtex to Xin Fengming since Year 2000. Chemtex highly values its relationship with the Xin Fengming Group.

Tongkun Group, China, a major producer of Polyester Yarn and raw materials. Have awarded 3 new Polyester Projects to Chemtex Global Corporation in the year 2017. Each of these Continuous Polymerization Plants using INVISTA technology have a capacity of 900 metric tons per day and the lines will be coupled to Filament Yarn Spinning machines. The first two lines have been completed within 12 months and are now in operation producing high quality products.

In February 2015, Chenxing Group awarded two new PET Resin production plants to Chemtex Global Corporation. Each one of the lines are design for 600,000 metric tons per year and utilize state of the art INVISTA technology. Chengxing Group (China) and Chemtex have worked on many projects in the past and these projects strengthen our relationship with this group that is a major producer of Polyester Polymers and intermediates.

Recently, Huvis Indorama Advanced Materials, a Joint Venture between Huvis Corporation and Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited has awarded an Engineering and Design Contract to Chemtex Global Corporation for the Low Melt Polyester Fiber Project in Spartanburg, SC.

The project includes a state of the art facility for the manufacturing of specialty fibers. Chemtex will perform the complete design for the facility and provide other services for the Project.
