Chemtex Global Corporation is pleased to announce the successful start-up of world’s largest single-line capacity PET plant for Jiangyin Chengold Packaging Material Co. Ltd. Located in Jiangsu Province, China. The Plant consists of two mega scale PET production lines, each with a capacity of 600,000 tons per year. 

Chemtex, as the prime contractor for the project, provided INVISTA technology for Continuous Polymerization & Polymetrix SSP technology coupled with complete project services.  The plant has been proven to produce the highest quality material in all major product properties, meeting and exceeding client and market expectations. 

This plant marks the world’s largest single-line PET capacity and has demonstrated product superiority, highly attractive CAPEX / OPEX, and has set a new benchmark for Chemtex and Chengold in the PET industry. This project has added another showcase project to the large list of PET plants provided by Chemtex around the world.
